No Code Salesforce and WordPress Integration

Salesforce is the most popular Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, and WordPress is the most popular Content Management System (CMS) in use today. WordPress and Salesforce are effective tools for companies, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations with connectors to seamlessly transfer data between them.

In this blog, we will discover the benefits, prerequisites, and No Code Salesforce and WordPress integration process;

Benefits of integrating Salesforce and WordPress

You can sync information from your website visitors' donations, newsletter signups, and event registrations directly to Salesforce.

Additionally, the Salesforce data on your WordPress website may be retrieved and shown.

The visitor's profile can be used to sync lists of sponsors or grants, program data, chapter or affiliate information, or some other customized experience.

Better data quality and consistency with less staff time devoted to data management pay for the original investment in integrating Salesforce and WordPress.

Prerequisites

  • An administrator-level Salesforce account.

  • WordPress user account.

Integration process

Configure the Salesforce WordPress Web-to-Lead Plugin.

You must install the Brilliant Web-to-Lead Plugin before you can begin the Salesforce WordPress Integration. Installing the Salesforce WordPress plugin involves the procedures listed below:

Go to Plugins in the sidebar after logging into your WordPress account.

Then, select Add New from the menu at the top of the WordPress page. You'll land on a new page after doing this.

Right now, use the Search Plugins box to look for the Brilliant Web-to-Lead plugin. To activate your plugin, click Activate after that.

Fill out the Plugin with your Salesforce Organization ID.

Setting up your Salesforce WordPress Web-to-Lead plugin is required in this stage. For Salesforce to be connected to WordPress, you must input your Salesforce Organization ID. For this reason, adhere to the steps listed below to locate and enter your Salesforce Organization ID:

To access Salesforce Dashboard, log into your Salesforce account.

Afterward, choose Setup by clicking the Settings button in the top right corner of your screen.

Next, locate the Salesforce organization ID field in the company information section of your sidebar, then copy the ID as indicated above. You may also use your quick find box to conduct a search for "Company Information."

Now navigate to Settings > Salesforce on your WordPress dashboard. Select the Settings tab after that, and then enter the previously copied Salesforce Organization ID.

By selecting the Save WordPress-to-Lead Settings button, you may save the information you've entered.

Personalize your Form

Your plugin and Salesforce have been successfully connected. However, you now need to design a fresh form or edit an existing one. By default, as soon as you connect your Brillant Web-to-Lead Plugin to Salesforce, a new form is generated for you. Therefore, use the procedures below to modify this form.

Click the My New Lead Form under the Forms tab.

Create the form fields to your specifications now. You can alter many different things, like the Operations, Type, Label, Order, and many more.

Make sure the Web to Lead checkbox is selected under the Form Settings after that. Click Save Form when finished customizing your form.

Integrate your WordPress form

Using the Salesforce WordPress Integration, you can immediately manage your leads in Salesforce while integrating the above-customized form into your WordPress content. To do this, follow the steps below:

WordPress's form page has a shortcode that you can copy that is on the right side.

Create a new page or open an existing one by going to your WordPress Dashboard right away. If you are using the new WordPress Block Editor, add a new Shortcode block and paste the shortcode there instead of using the classic WordPress TinyMCE Editor.

In WordPress, you may then either publish or schedule your page.

Note: Salesforce receives the form information when a Lead submits it. In Salesforce, it is accessible via the Leads menu.

Voila! Salesforce and WordPress integration is now set up effectively.
